Heavy Hook Logistics is a proudly South African company based in the Mount Edgecombe area of Durban.

Our services have an attractive competitive edge that suites customers needs in both local transportation as well as specialised abnormal and cross-border cargo transportation with a handling capacity of up to 95 tons.

Our services include and extend to various destinations such as Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Tanzania, Angola, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Congo.

The types of cargo we manage include break bulk, project cargo, hazchem, containers, general cargo and the specialising of abnormal cargo. While also providing state of the art fleet of transportation which are equipped with trailers such as tri-axles, super links, step decks, super decks, low beds and extendable. Heavy Hook Logistics has been in business since 2012 and has become THE specialised leader in abnormal load transport into Africa.

We offer a competitive, cost-effective and comprehensive range of abnormal load services to meet your every load requirement.

Our client-base is varied and includes the mining sector, engineering sector, agents (such as Marcopolo Buses, XCMG and Bell equipment), clearing, forwarding and shipping agents.

Our 12 000 square meter workshop facility is situated in Phoenix Industrial Park, with 5 mobile service teams covering the country.

Heavy Hook Logistics operations centre is 20 000 square meter creating sufficient Abnormal layover and lay down area.
